Qiu Tenghua said recently that in the past four weeks, the total number of inbound tour groups passing through the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge has increased from about 70 in the first week to over 700 in the most recent week. "Inland tourists who stay in Hong Kong for one night or more will go to scenic spots, shopping malls, commercial streets and other places, and will also bring direct benefits to Hong Kong's tourism, hotels, restaurants, retail and other industries."

In Yao Sirong's view, as the mainland passenger market coming to Hong Kong via the bridge continues to mature, Hong Kong's travel agencies should be more proactive in promoting the “green tourism”, “cultural heritage tourism”, “island tourism” and other in-depth routes. Go to the Pearl River Delta region and grasp the opportunities that the bridge brings to Hong Kong's tourism industry.

The industry is full of expectations for business opportunities
