Xi delivered a speech entitled "sharing new opportunities for the development of the far east and opening up a bright new future for northeast Asia", stressing that China is willing to work with other countries in the region to maintain regional peace and tranquility, achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, consolidate the traditional friendship of the people, achieve comprehensive and coordinated development, and promote regional peace, stability, development and prosperity.

Xi pointed out that the BBS has been successfully held for three sessions under the initiative of President putin himself, and has become an important platform for all parties to pool their wisdom and discuss cooperation.China has been an active supporter and participant in Russia's far east cooperation.Our cooperation enjoys unique geographical advantages, solid political foundation, strong policy support and efficient mechanisms.Thanks to the joint efforts of both sides, China's participation in Russia's far east cooperation has achieved remarkable results in recent years.This year and the next will be the year of china-russia local cooperation and exchange, which President putin and I have decided on, opening wider space for our far east cooperation.China is ready to work with Russia to complement each other's advantages for mutual benefit and win-win results to push forward china-russia cooperation in the far east.

Xi stressed that in the new situation, we should work together to strengthen cooperation.

First, enhance mutual trust and safeguard regional peace and tranquility.A harmonious, trust, united and stable northeast Asia meets the interests of all countries and the expectations of the international community.China has always tried to create a harmonious and friendly neighborhood environment, participate in regional cooperation in a constructive manner, promote exchanges and dialogue among countries in the region, and will continue to work with all parties to explore effective ways to maintain lasting peace and tranquility in northeast Asia and make unremitting efforts to achieve peace, stability and development in the region.

Second, deepen cooperation to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results for all countries.We need to align our development strategies, strengthen policy communication and coordination, and steer our cooperation in the right direction.We will focus on upgrading cross-border infrastructure connectivity, trade and investment liberalization and facilitation, and jointly build an open regional economy.We will vigorously promote small multilateral cooperation and sub-regional cooperation, push for more tangible projects to be implemented, and bring more benefits to people in the region.

Third, learn from each other to consolidate the traditional friendship of the people.We should expand channels of communication and create new forms of cooperation to facilitate and build platforms for people of all countries and ages to communicate.

Fourth, we should take a long-term perspective and achieve comprehensive and coordinated development.We should actively explore the establishment of a new model of coordinated development in northeast Asia, accelerate scientific and technological innovation, change the concept of development, strengthen comprehensive environmental governance, form an industrial pattern and way of life for resource conservation and environmental protection, and work together to address common regional environmental problems.
