Since 2012, China has been Cambodia's largest trading partner and source of imports.From January to April this year, bilateral trade reached us $2.07 billion, up 23 percent year-on-year.Through the platform of the east expo, the economic and trade cooperation between Cambodia and China has been further strengthened and the international market has been further expanded.

The thematic countries mechanism of the east expo will better promote win-win cooperation.Yang yanyan briefed the media about the theme countries of the east expo.Since its first implementation in 2007, the thematic mechanism has been appreciated by asean countries.This year, for the second time, Cambodia will be the host country of the east expo. The conference will hold colorful activities of theme countries to fully display the national image of Cambodia.Cambodian leaders will address the opening conference, hold bilateral meetings with Chinese leaders and jointly attend the opening ceremony of the "city of enchantment" and the CEO roundtable of Chinese enterprises.Cambodian special performances will be the theme of the country series preheating activities.The "charming city" exhibition area in Cambodia will set up the "theme island" for the first time, providing Cambodian exhibitors with trade negotiation matching and investment matching services.During the conference, Cambodia will also hold a special promotion conference and other activities.
