Li Keqiang congratulated China and Croatia on their joint cultural and tourism theme year activities. He said that both China and Croatia have a long history, rich culture and beautiful natural scenery. The exchanges between the two peoples have a long history, which not only deepened the friendship between the Chinese and Croatian people, but also promoted exchanges and mutual understanding between the East and the West.
Li Keqiang pointed out that the Chinese government supports the two countries to expand tourism cooperation. There were 250,000 Chinese tourists visiting Croatia last year. We hope that when conditions are ripe, the two countries can open direct flights according to market and commercial principles, providing more convenience for personnel exchanges. I believe that Croatia will attract more and more Chinese tourists, and more Croatian friends are welcome to visit China.
Li Keqiang said that he is looking forward to attending the eighth China-Central and Eastern Europe leaders meeting in the historical and cultural city of Dubrovnik tomorrow. Together with the leaders of the 16 countries of Central and Eastern Europe, he will promote the "16+1 cooperation" to a deeper and wider level. The field is moving forward.
Plenkovic said that the Croatian people have friendly feelings towards the Chinese people and have a strong interest in the rich and colorful Chinese culture and the long-standing Chinese civilization. Premier Li Keqiang’s visit is a journey of friendship and cooperation. The Kezhong Culture and Tourism Year will further deepen the friendship between the two sides and bring the hearts of the two peoples closer together.
